The Port Augusta Cultural Centre - Yarta Purtli comprises unique exhibition spaces. "Yarta Purtli" is loosely translated as "place of stars".
In what was the old courthouse is now two gallery spaces, referred to as Gallery #1 and Gallery #2. An initiative of the Port Augusta City Council and Country Arts SA, the Cultural Centre Gallery aims to provide a unique, quality and accessible venue for the display of a variety of local and contemporary cultural products for all Port Augusta residents, visitors and surrounding communities.
