Welcome to the Old Black Rock Hotel, transformed into an art gallery by artist Bud Stephenson and his wife Lana. Located about 12 km from Orroroo, at the Black Rock railway siding on the old line between Peterborough and Orroroo.
Using the colours Bud is surrounded by and immersed in, it is with a sort of chaotic energy that he attacks each work fighting to control the skeins and receding depths of paint with the right light, space and contemporary or abstract form.
